Thank you for visiting the piano studio of Anita Yu.
Anita is a New Hampshire piano teacher for nearly 20 years. She currently teaches at the Concord Community Music School in Concord, NH and at her private studio in Nashua, NH.
Both locations are equipped with Steinway grand pianos.
She also offers virtual piano lessons in her state-of-the-art studio using a professional-grade microphone and multi-angle high definition cameras.
Whether competition-level or beginner, Anita fosters her students' love of music and motivates them to strive for a standard of excellence.
She has led them to consistent success in national and state competitions, auditions, and board examinations.

Anita earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the Westminster Choir College of Rider University.
She has studied with Louise Goss, Phyllis Lehrer, Ena Barton, and Michael Lewin of the Boston Conservatory. Anita has performed in Boston, Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Vancouver, B.C., and has been on the faculties at the Community Music Center of Boston, St. Paul’s School, and the New School for Music Study.
Virtual piano lessons
Anita offers virtual piano lessons in her state-of-the-art studio.
Equipped with a Steinway grand piano, multi-angle high definition cameras, a professional-grade microphone, and mesh router internet connection, Anita’s virtual lessons come close to the live experience.
With a busy virtual studio during the pandemic, Anita adapts her teaching methods to the online medium, and places a priority in engaging, connecting with, and challenging students on the screen.
COVID safety
Students’ safety is Anita’s top priority. She implements the following precautionary measures:
Everyone in the household is fully vaccinated with the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.
A HEPA filter continuously runs in the studio.
Windows are open during lessons (weather permitting).
Students wash their hands prior to entering the studio.
Piano keys are disinfected in between students.
Anita and the student wear masks during lessons.
